What we use & why it matters
The injection panel doses hydrogen peroxide the moment water enters your home. Peroxide is a far stronger oxidizer than air: it turns hydrogen sulfide gas into filterable sulfur and dissolved iron into solid particles within seconds, and it kills the sulfur bacteria that keep making the smell.
A dedicated Jacobi catalytic carbon tank captures the oxidized iron and sulfur particles. The peroxide itself is consumed on the catalytic carbon and filtered out, so nothing but treated water reaches your faucets.
A dedicated tank of 10% crosslinked resin removes calcium and magnesium hardness for fully softened water, on top of odor-free, stain-free water from the oxidation stages ahead of it.
The MSP ceramic disc valve backwashes captured contaminants down the drain automatically, and polishing gravel under each media bed keeps flow even and prevents channeling. Ceramic discs mean no rubber seals to wear out.
